Diagnostic Blood Test:
Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a))
Lipoprotein(a) is a form of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or 'bad' cholesterol. This protein is smaller and denser than other types of LDL, allowing it to lodge into blood vessel walls more easily. High lipoprotein(a) levels can indicate an elevated risk of developing a heart attack, stroke, or heart disease. Levels of Lp(a) are largely genetically determined.
Refunds are issued only under special circumstances such as not being able to retrieve a specimen for testing or if the lab is unable to complete the testing and provide results. If any of these conditions have been met, please contact us below to process your refund.
